Despite what the movies may display, most real life struggles between two opponents quickly move from being on their feet to ending up on the ground. And although jiu-jitsu has a variety of effective defense techniques from the feet, the ground game is where jiu-jitsu really shines!

What will I learn?

Self-Defense: Defense tactics that have been proven to be high percentage in successfully defensing yourself against an attacker. Each tactic is specifically designed to quickly move you into a safe and offensive position within just a move or two.

Takedowns: Techniques on how to take your opponent to the ground and secure an offensive position. These involve a variety of movements derived from modern day jiu-jitsu, traditional judo, and many different forms of wrestling.

Ground Fighting: Become mentally equipped with a handful of offensive ground positions that can easily pave the way to submitting your opponents. Additionally, learn key survival techniques for when you find yourself on the ground in a defensive position, and more importantly, learn the techniques necessary to get yourself back to offense!
