Our Mission
Where Strength Meets Community
Mammoth Lakes Jiu-Jitsu, our mission is to strengthen our mountain community through the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and the unmatched experience of training at over 7,900 feet, home to one of the highest-elevation academies in the country. The altitude challenges the body and sharpens the mind, helping students build real endurance, discipline, and self-belief. In our welcoming, family-centered academy, we encourage growth, teamwork, and a mindset that prepares individuals for both the demands of the mat and the adventurous Mammoth lifestyle.

Seeking a deeper foundation, he joined the Gracie Academy in 2013 under Rorion, a founder of UFC, with sons Rener, and Ryron, restarting as a white belt and studying their complete self-defense curriculum. He continued his training through Gracie University and received his black belt in 2023.
